Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) is established and incorporated by Government of Uttarakhand Act No. 33 of 2016. Vide Notification No. XXXVI (3)/2016/48(1)/2016 of Uttarakhand Shashan. The university is situated in a peaceful and pollution-free environment close to nature, surrounded by the beautiful Garhwal ranges of Shivalik hills.
The university was established with a clear mission of imparting quality education as per industrial and social needs. The founders have rich experience in business and social environments and are well connected with the hilly regions of Uttarakhand, dedicated to preparing skilled and cultured manpower.
